THE FIELD HOCKEY ZONE
The Field Hockey Zone was established in 2020 during Covid, but STYX has been offering Training since 2012.
The foundation of any great athlete always comes back to the training. Under pressure, people don't rise to the occasion - they fall back to the level of their training.
The Field Hockey Zone offers a variety of Training environments to fit everyone's needs.
Small Group Training
Small Group Training is open programming.
Anyone can register at any time.
We offer a variety of sites in an effort to reach more players. These programs are a 60 minute program so being closer geographically makes it easier for people to commit to this type of training.
We focus on skill development in general settings and situational settings. speed of training varies but we emphasize high intensity.
Private
Semi Private
& Group Training
Private / Semi Private Training & Group Training are a great option for people who want to control the grouping.
Private is 1:1 Semi Private is 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 Group is 5:1 and more
1:1 is $75/session
Semi & Group are based on numbers. More people = bigger discount.
We offer slots around programming. We will share those on social media, email and TeamSnap groups. You can always reach out to ask about availability.
We can also come to you. You coordinate the site and we can come to you to run the sessions.
All options require a minimum of 2 sessions to be booked at a time.
Summer & Fall Skills
Summer & Fall Skills are programs for Youth & Middle School aged players only. They are open to anyone and everyone.
We offer these in the summer and fall only. Players can still participate with their local program in the fall and do this!
These programs are a 60/90 min program focusing on skill development and small games.
Our primary sites are typically Portland, Topsham and Auburn.
Goal Keeper Training
Goal Keeper Training is for the most special player on the pitch! Our fabulous goalies!!
We will offer these at various sites throughout the year depending on availability, spacing and staffing.
When we open slots - we will blast out as many ways as we can - email, social media and team groups.
1:1 is $75/session
2:1 / 3:1 will result in a decreased price. Case by case.
